“This is probably the most important Misfits release (official or otherwise) since the Coffin Boxset in the 90’s (edit: now the second most important release after the release of the Manny Tapes v1-2 in 2025). There have been illegitimate “Static Age demos” floating around for years, but those were all taken from a poor copy of the album versions which was then slowed down from 45rpm to 33 1/3 rpm to try and pass off as different outtakes.

This release, however, contains the actual outtakes from CI studios sessions, otherwise known as the Static Age Sessions. The sound quality of these tracks is outstanding. ”
