Yes it sounds like a live tape from 1978…. what do you expect? For those of us who never had a chance to see ’em back in the day, this is perfect! Rowdy crowd was treated to songs like We Got The Neutron Bomp, Life Of Crime, Idle Life, and Solitary Confinement… does not get much better than that! Turn it up and imagine how crazy it must have been to see ’em back then, Security Guard interruptions and all. Truly one of America’s best bands ever.

“Live! At The Club Azteca” documents the legendary show the WEIRDOS performed at the SoCa club one hot night of 1978. The set is presented in its entirety.
The release is complete with photos taken on the actual night, shot by legendary photographer Melanie Nissen, and includes an insert with liner notes by Weirdos’ guitarist/songwriter, and founding member, Cliff Roman. It is an exciting document of an era when punk was young, loud and snotty, but also clever and fun. Destroy all music!

On the technical side, the release has been prepared specifically for vinyl, with mastering done in part at Studio 606 and pressing handled by Record Technology Incorporated, giving the live recording a sonically durable presentation.
